Angelina Cacciato
David Cooke
CEO Act Productions/Executive Producer/Creator of the Green Cooking Show
CEO of ACT Inc., Angelina Cacciato, has been producing, writing, and directing for stage and screen for over 30 years. She is producer of the 8 part series, GAINING A VOICE, which was broadcast on Vision TV, TVO, Access Alberta and the Knowledge Network. Her writing and directing credits include a PSA on Human Trafficking and assistant director on the short film DREAM STATE. She is founder of The Sun Day Theatre Company in Ottawa Canada, and The Recycle Players in Toronto. She has written and directed a number of critically acclaimed plays and is a sought-after acting coach both in India and the U.S. She produced the music albums "A CHRISTMAS MOSAIC" and "CHRISTMAS MOSAIC 2" and her music video, MUSIC MONDO, featuring the Music on Dario Domingues, continues to be popular on YouTube. She is a member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, holds an Honors B.A. from York University and a B.Ed from the University of Toronto. In 2020 she directed a short video for Landmark Education Worldwide.
Master Chef
Master Chef David Cooke was awarded the British “Master Chef of the Year” award in 1994. A "Guild Master Craftsman", he interned with Fance’s Habaelin brothers and in Switzerland, with Hans Stucki. He went on to work with Hilton hotels in the UK, Switzerland and Holland. After working throughout Europe, Australia and Hong Kong he returned to his native Canada. Since 2002 he's held the position of Head Chef at the prestigious Arowhon Pines in Algonquin Park. He is also Chief Instructor for the faculties of Culinary and Food and Nutrition Management, at Algonquin College, in Ottawa. In 2020 became “Chef Liaison” for the Canadian Culinary Championships. In the Winter of 2020, David and the Arowhon kitchen helped the Food for Thought Charity by cooking 1000 hot meals a day for people in isolation. David is delighted to be part of the TNTE team.
Zane Twobe
Creative Consultant
Zane has enjoyed a 30-year creative career in movies, video games, TV shows, documentaries, jingles, amusement park attractions, and live special events. He is an accomplished composer, equally comfortable working in all musical genres, including rock, jazz, country, pop, ethnic and symphonic. His truly diverse abilities have attracted clients worldwide - from LA to South Africa and Singapore to Qatar.
Zane has won numerous awards for his work, including New York Film Festival Gold, Gemini, Golden Reel, and the Creative Hermes awards. Awards won by productions incorporating his music scores include the Peabody, Cine Golden Eagle, New York Animation Festival, Columbus, Chicago, and Huston Film Festival awards.
Over his career, Zane has accumulated over 3000 registered television credits. His music has been heard in over 180 countries worldwide and on all major North American television networks.
Jennifer Lynes
Associate Professor - School of Environment, Enterprise and Development, University of Waterloo
Jennifer Lynes is an Associate Professor in the School of Environment, Enterprise, and Development and a Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE) member. Her research focuses on the marketing of sustainability, with a particular focus on energy conservation behaviour in the residential sector. Her main research interests include the application of social marketing and green marketing to socially conscious consumerism. Professor Lynes has strong links with Residential Energy Efficiency Project (REEP) Green Solutions, Sustainable Waterloo, My Sustainable Canada and Reduce the Juice.

Social Media Manager
After graduating with a BA from the Sichaun University of International Studies in Chongqing, China, Cindy worked as a marketing project manager and sales manager with nine years of experience in a Fortune 500 company, China Mobile. During Cindy's time with the company, she performed different roles focused on leading/managing teams, planning and organizing marketing projects, and analyzing demographic data. After nine years with the company, she moved to Canada, studied Culinary Management at Algonquin College, Ottawa, and was the president of Algonquin College Chinese Student Alliance from March 2017 to May 2019. After graduating, Cindy worked in various fine-dining locations. Cindy was Garde Manger cook and pastry cook at Arowhon Pines in Algonquin Park from 2018 to 2021 and is currently a second cook at the National Arts Center in Ottawa. She participated in "the 2020 Canadian Culinary Championships" as the event liaison assistant. She volunteered during the pandemic to help 'Food for Thought", an Ottawa-based food security charity, prepare 1000 meals a day for those in need.
Cindy joined The Green cooking show team in February 2022 as social media manager.
Brian Roe
Associate Chair, Fred N. VanBuren Professor of Farm Management, University of Ohio
Brian Roe is the Van Buren Professor in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at Ohio State University. Roe attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and was named part of the 1990 Truman Scholar class. Roe received a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland. Before his employment at Ohio State, Roe worked on policy issues surrounding food safety and health information disclosure as a Staff Fellow at the US Food and Drug Administration in Washington, DC.
Rebbeca Pottage
MES Candidate, Sustainability Management – University of Waterloo
Jay Kassirer is General Manager for Tools of Change, and President of Ottawa-based Cullbridge Marketing and Communications. He has 33 years of professional marketing, communications and research experience involving environment, health and sustainability. He has contributed to the development of enduring outreach programs such as BC Hydro's Power Smart program, Green Communities Canada’s school travel planning, home energy audit, and Well Aware programs, and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s Healthy Housing and Sustainable Community Planning initiatives, and co-led the formation and growth of Canada’s multi-stakeholder Healthy Indoors Partnership.
Rebecca Pottage is currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Studies in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a Marketing Co-op and Psychology Minor at the University of Guelph.
Rebecca has worked in various roles throughout her academic journey, including as a Teaching Assistant and Communications Officer at the University of Guelph and as a Marketing and Social Media Manager for The Table Factory in Waterloo. She has a solid foundation in graphic design, having designed newsletters, social media graphics, and promotional content, and a deep understanding of writing for social media voice, brand, analytics, and strategy.
Rebecca is a well-rounded individual with a passion for sustainability, wellness, and the environment. She has initiated and led new projects, such as aiding instructors and students in the world of online learning, and has a strong appreciation for online communication and etiquette. In her spare time, she runs a food-based Instagram account where her passions for food, wellness, and the environment come to life.
Sadaf Mollaei
MBA, MES, PhD Candidate in Sustainability Management - University of Waterloo
Sadaf Mollaei is in her final year of a Ph.D. in Sustainability Management where her research focuses on sustainable consumer behaviours particularly eating behaviours. In her Ph.D. project, she is looking at examining and promoting sustainable food and eating habits. She is currently teaching courses related to sustainable marketing, sustainable food/food services, and science of sustainability at the University of Waterloo and the Chef School at George Brown College.
Sadaf Mollaei also has a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Marketing focused on green marketing and brand equity in food industries. She also, received her Master of Environmental Studies (MES) in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo in 2018. She also has more than four years of experience working as a quality control manager in food services
